Design Challenge
TinyBot's previous brand identity was teetering on outdated and lacked the edge needed to resonate with their core audience of custom car enthusiasts and professional wrap installers. The existing website struggled with product discoverability across their extensive catalog, inconsistent imagery from multiple sources, and an unclear brand narrative. The challenge was to evolve TinyBot into a modern, design-driven brand that balanced visual impact with practical functionality—reflecting the street culture and automotive passion that drives their community.
Solution & Approach
Brand Evolution We refreshed TinyBot's visual identity by tweaking the color palette to relate to street art culture—introducing urban-inspired tones that felt authentic and cool rather than generic or cheesy. This repositioning aligned the brand with the custom car and streetwear communities, creating immediate visual resonance with their target audience. UI/UX Redesign To address navigation challenges across 300+ product SKUs, we implemented an intuitive search and filtering system that streamlined product discovery. We unified all product imagery—previously sourced from various suppliers—creating visual consistency that elevated the professional presentation while maintaining the brand's rebellious edge. Art Direction Overhaul A complete photography and styling refresh brought cohesion to TinyBot's product presentation. The new art direction emphasized the intersection of automotive craftsmanship and street culture, showcasing vinyl wraps as both functional upgrades and creative expressions. Homepage Redesign The revamped homepage strategically highlighted hero products while telling TinyBot's brand story—positioning them not just as a supplier, but as a cultural hub for the wrap community. Wrap Academy Launch We introduced Wrap Academy, an educational platform providing users with expert knowledge about vinyl film applications, installation techniques, and automotive aesthetics. This content strategy positioned TinyBot as an authority in the space while adding value beyond product sales, fostering community engagement and customer loyalty.
Impact
The redesigned TinyBot Vinyl website successfully bridges the gap between professional-grade performance and street-inspired aesthetics. By improving product accessibility, unifying visual presentation, and introducing educational resources, we created a platform that serves both seasoned installers and enthusiastic DIYers—establishing TinyBot as a modern, credible, and culturally relevant brand in the automotive customization space.
