Campaign Strategy
As Creative Strategist at Red Bull Records, I spearheaded innovative marketing campaigns across the entire roster for two years, driving artist growth through non-traditional digital activations and experiential content. My work bridged artist branding, emerging technology, and fan engagement, culminating in award-winning projects including BLXST's Apple Maps partnership—the first artist-curated guide on the platform—which earned a Clio Award and established Red Bull Records as the first record label publisher on Apple Maps Guides.
Pioneering Digital Innovation & Artist-Led Storytelling
At Red Bull Records, I developed breakthrough creative marketing strategies that transformed how artists connected with their audiences. My approach centered on identifying emerging platforms and technologies that could authentically amplify artist narratives while creating scalable, repeatable tactics for the entire roster. Working closely with Project Directors and Marketing teams, I conceptualized and executed campaigns that went beyond traditional promotional methods, focusing instead on immersive experiences that gave fans unprecedented access to artists' worlds. This philosophy of innovation-first thinking allowed me to pitch and produce activations that not only served immediate marketing goals but also positioned Red Bull Records at the forefront of digital music marketing.
The BLXST Apple Maps Project: Award-Winning Collaboration
The crown jewel of my tenure was BLXST's Guide to LA, an immersive Apple Maps experience that earned a Clio Award and broke new ground for the music industry. I identified Apple Maps as an untapped opportunity for organic audience growth and partnered with the rising West Coast hip-hop artist to create an intimate journey through Los Angeles. The guide featured custom video clips and audio liners showcasing BLXST's favorite local businesses, restaurants, and cultural landmarks, allowing fans to experience the city through his perspective. Managing external creative teams and production budgets, I oversaw the project from concept to execution, ultimately establishing Red Bull Records as the first record label publisher on Apple Maps Guides—a historic milestone that opened doors for similar activations, including a subsequent Atlanta guide with Killer Mike.
Holistic Artist Development & Cross-Functional Leadership
Beyond individual campaigns, I served as a creative partner to artists across Red Bull Records' diverse roster, developing comprehensive branding strategies, creative briefs, and style guides that ensured consistent messaging across all touchpoints. I managed relationships with external creative teams and freelancers while maintaining oversight of content and activation budgets and timelines. My role required constant vigilance for interactive and emerging technologies that could benefit our artists, translating these innovations into actionable marketing opportunities. By fostering collaboration between the Creative Department and other internal teams, I helped develop Red Bull Records' creative properties and established new content formats that became templates for future label initiatives.
